U.S. commodity prices decline slightly - The Money Times

New York -- Energy prices backed off slightly in early Friday trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange after a week of steep climbs put oil at more than $95 a barrel.
Crude oil prices, at less than $88 per barrel a week ago, lost 11 cents to $95.35.
Heating oil prices lost 1.11 cents and were at $2.6555 per gallon.
The price of reformulated gasoline blendstock also declined, down 0.34 cents to $2.4727 per gallon.
Natural gas prices dropped 4.7 cents to $8.725 per million British thermal units.
The national average price for a gallon of unleaded inclined to $2.984 per gallon Friday morning, up from $2.979 Thursday, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
